Paint By Munzy's original oil paintings are meticulously hand painted using oil on stretched canvas by Ontario artist Jonathan Munz. These pieces are one-of-a-kind and custom painting requests are welcomed for consideration.

To create our canvas prints, Jonathan (the artist) first photographs his original oil paintings using a professional camera. These high resolution images are then colour corrected to colour match the original painting and printed on canvas using a high-quality archival inkjet printer to make individual copies on demand. Our high quality canvas prints give the look and feel of an original piece for a fraction of the cost.
High Quality
Our canvas prints are produced with premium archival poly-cotton canvas using a giclee process on large format CMYK inkjet printers using fade resistant, archival inks and substrates. We digitally reproduce our fine art canvas prints in Canada, preserving the luminosity and brilliance of the original painting images.
Gallery Stretched
True statement pieces, our canvas prints are hand-stretched over 1.5" wooden bars. This means that when the canvas print is wrapped around the frame, it is stapled along the back so the staples remain hidden. The corners are meticulously folded and each print is finished with black edges for a clean, frame-like look. Once wrapped over the frame, only the image shows on the front of the canvas and the solid black border wraps and shows along the sides of the print.
Ready To Hang With Wire
Lightweight canvas prints come ready to hang out of the box with hanging wire. No framing required. All you'll need is a hammer and a nail.

What will I need to hang my art?
Ready to hang out of the box with a heavy-duty hanging wire, our canvas prints are surprisingly light weight making them very easy to hang. We recommend using an art hanging nail/hook like the one shown in the photo here. They can be purchased at any local hardware store. -
How long will delivery take?
Our canvas prints are made to order in Ontario and take approximately 3 weeks to arrive anywhere in Canada. Once your artwork has shipped you will recieve a tracking number from us via email. -
How durable are your canvas prints?
Printed to last up to 200 years you wont need to worry about our prints cracking or fading over time. Fine art printed with fade resistant, premium archival inks and finished with an environmental film to protect from UV light and scratches. -
Will my art arrive in good condition?
All orders are packaged with highly durable packaging materials. Although we do our absolute best to ensure your new art is protected transit damage sometimes happens. No need to worry though! If your package(s) get damaged in transit, we will gladly have your art replaced and shipped out again. -
Do you offer rolled prints or a thinner canvas?
Yes! If you are interested in framing a rolled print please feel free to request a quote. In addition to our 1.5" gallery stretched canvas prints we also offer a .75" thickness (half the size) for higher trafficked areas and smaller walls. -
How do I care for my canvas?
Even though our canvases are scratch and scuff resistant, for general dusting we recommend using a soft micro-fiber or terry cloth or generic household dusting wand. If you need to wipe one clean, try to stick with using a damp cloth and plain water. If you accidentally damage the protective laminate and notice minor ink loss, we recommend using coloured felt pens which can be purchased at your local arts and crafts retail store.
